I don't think it is wrong at all. You are entitled to have your perfect day at least once a year!!!!

Do you remember when I said that? I always said don't ask me to do anything, fix anything or solve an issues for anyone on Mother's day. I wanted to be invisible! Now you understand why I wanted that. LOL

No Mam, I do not think it is “wrong”, “selfish”, or inappropriate for you or any other mom to want to be left alone to relax. Not having to cook, clean, make decisions about anything sounds perfectly reasonable. A mani-pedi, a massage, a “kick ass brunch” (lol), would make for an outstanding Mother’s Day! Good luck… I hope you get it!
