It’s almost mothers day! And now that I have a daughter of my own, I am realizing how special it is to be appreciated and loved. Growing up, we would always shower my mom with gifts on Mothers day. I was big into writing a card, doing breakfast in bed, and making the whole day about her.
My first mothers day was like 6 days postpartum so that was an absolute blur. I honestly don’t even remember it. Sometimes I feel sad that it was a blur but I remind myself that it’s not all perfect in motherhood. Some days are great, other days are harder.
Then last year I fit into the “mold” of what I thought a mothers day should look like. But this year, I told myself I really want to do what I WANT TO DO. I want to workout in the morning, I want to go get some bomb ass brunch. I want to go get a pedicure, and not have to cook. Boom. I am not expecting breakfast in bed, tons of gifts, or undivided attention. I kind of want to be left alone (is that bad to say)? lol

Last Minute Mothers Day Gift Guide!
Here are some amazing things I have found extremely useful, comforting, fun and cozy around my home. I am a mom, and each and every one of these gifts would make me extremely excited. Hope this list helps you find the perfect gift for that special mother figure in your life.
Psssst girls, send this to your man for hints!!

Pranamat Acupressure Mat
This has been a game-changer for my mental health. I lie on it for 20 minutes at night, and it melts away stress and anxiety. The acupressure points help release tension and promote relaxation, like a spa treatment at home. I noticed it gives me an amazing night sleep!
Kindle
Perfect for the book lover! I’ve read so many more books since getting mine. I just use my library card to borrow e-books. It’s easy, space-saving, and mom can just pop it in her purse while traveling!
Nespresso Milk Frother
This is the best gift for any homemade latte lover. Froths any kind of milk, blends in collagen, and makes your morning tea or coffee feel like a café experience. I use it every single day!!

Towel Warmer
Such a cozy luxury! Keeps towels and robes warm so you can step out of the shower into instant comfort. It’s the kind of thing moms never buy for themselves but absolutely love once they have.
Titanium Always Pan
The only pan I use lately. Non-toxic, non-stick, and durable like stainless steel. It seriously does it all… fry, sauté, simmer. If your mom loves to cook, this is a forever kind of gift!
Back & Neck Massager
Feels like having a massage therapist at home. It works out all the knots and tension. I use it almost every night. Ideal for busy moms who carry stress in their shoulders and need a little relief. I got mine 4 years ago, and it’s still one of my favorite gifts to date!

Our Place Wonder Oven
If she’s always in the kitchen, this is a dream. A stylish, non-toxic air fryer that also roasts, bakes, toasts, and reheats. It replaces multiple appliances and looks cute on the counter.
Glass Water Bottle with Time Markers
Obsessed with this one. It’s glass (non-toxic), fits in most cup holders, and comes with two tops (a straw for home and a cap for the gym). Plus, the time stamps help mom stay hydrated all day.
Collagen Powder
After 30, collagen production starts to drop, so supplementing is key. This one is amazing, just stir into coffee! It supports hair, skin, nails, joints...and helps mom feel her best within just 7 days!!

Ninja Knife Set
A solid knife set is essential, and this one even comes with a built-in sharpener! Perfect for any mom who cooks regularly. I’ve had mine for 4 years and they’re still going strong.
Cutting Board
A fresh, high-quality cutting board is always a welcome kitchen addition. Great for meal prep, charcuterie, or just updating worn-out old boards.
Whitening Strips
These are non-toxic and gentle, literally no sensitivity at all! A simple self-care win for mom. Great for a little glow-up she might not splurge on herself.

Silk Sleep Mask
This mask is buttery soft and SOOO comfortable. Helps block out light for deeper, more restful sleep. Every mom deserves a solid night’s rest!
Gratitude Journal
A sweet, mindful way to wind down. Just a few minutes of daily journaling helps bring perspective, calm, and joy.
Gua Sha Tool
Perfect for a gentle lymphatic facial massage. It boosts circulation, reduces puffiness, and feels like a mini spa moment at home.
Recipes to make for your mom for mothers day!

Start her day with a homemade iced brown sugar shaken espresso! Then make her a batch of homemade granola she can eat for the rest of the week with greek yogurt for breakfast! Make a “snack-y” lunch for her with this delicious and creamy smoked salmon dip she can munch on with her favorite crackers. End the night with a caprese burger she is sure to love!
If she likes mocktails, make her this herbal glow mocktail. And if she loves sweets, you will have to make these brown butter chocolate chip cookies!

I don't think it is wrong at all. You are entitled to have your perfect day at least once a year!!!!
Do you remember when I said that? I always said don't ask me to do anything, fix anything or solve an issues for anyone on Mother's day. I wanted to be invisible! Now you understand why I wanted that. LOL
No Mam, I do not think it is “wrong”, “selfish”, or inappropriate for you or any other mom to want to be left alone to relax. Not having to cook, clean, make decisions about anything sounds perfectly reasonable. A mani-pedi, a massage, a “kick ass brunch” (lol), would make for an outstanding Mother’s Day! Good luck… I hope you get it!
