Let me tell you about my all-time favorite Persian dish, it’s called Tahchin. Its layers of saffron yogurt marinated rice with juicy chicken. Then it’s baked into a crispy golden crust, that crust is called tahdig. And at our family gatherings, it’s the dish that everyone is fighting over.

Tahchin is juicy, cozy, and honestly, just such a different dish. It’s the kind of food that makes you feel like you’re getting a hug. Whenever I am home sick, I make it for myself… Hense, why I made it this week! Once you’ve tried it, you’ll understand why it’s my favorite food
