This Powerhouse Buffalo Chicken Quinoa Bowl was a staple in my meal prep rotation when I worked as an NBA athlete private chef! They loved the bold, tangy flavors and they always said it fueled their workout or training sessions. This was one of those meals that would disappear from the fridge faster than I could make it! I’m sharing it with you, can’t wait for you to try this recipe!

What’s new!
Last week I asked you what you thought was going on, and 70% of people guessed I was pregnant! Nope, that’s not it…
In case you missed it, we are moving! I recorded a podcast episode sharing why! Make sure you give it a listen and leave a comment if you have any questions!
It’s back-to-school season, and as my mom, who works at an elementary school, always reminds me, it can be a hectic time. The other day at the grocery store, I found myself frustrated with the way snack companies market their products as "healthy" for kids. So many of these snacks are overpriced and do more harm than good—spiking blood sugar, reducing focus, and fueling sugar cravings. Even I catch myself falling for these marketing tricks sometimes!
That’s why I made this video to share a few simple, healthy back-to-school swaps you can make when packing lunches for your kids!
My favorite matcha is on sale!
Last week I made a phenomenal honey lavender simple syrup that I have been adding into my matcha lattes every day. The whole batch has lasted me over a week! Here is the recipe in case you missed it.
Honey lavender simple syrup👇🏼
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp cooking lavender
Add everything to a pot. Bring it to a simmer, remove from heat and let it sit for 45 minutes. Strain & store in the fridge!
Ok so now let’s get to matcha… When you’re consuming matcha, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. You want to look for ceremonial grade, meaning it’s the highest quality and best for drinking. Make sure it’s from Japan, organic and the color is vibrant, bright green. All of this impacts the taste and you’ll get benefits from consuming it!
The brand I have been drinking for over a year and a half is by Pique. It’s quadruple toxin screened. I find that it firms & brightens my skin, curbs my sugar cravings, supports skin clarity, supports liver health & controls cortisol. I look forward to it every morning! They are offering 15% off right now, I already ordered through this link for myself! It’s a good deal, they never go on sale!
