The short version is that I’m stepping back from paid memberships here on Substack for now. What’s the reason? Life is full in the best way and I’m juggling a lot, running my own business, keeping up with my blog, social media, writing newsletters, and most importantly, being a very present mom to my two-year-old, Olive.
If you’re a fellow mom, you know the feeling of trying to juggle it all.
I am doing laundry, cooking meals, school drop off and pick up, doctors appointments, social activities, cleaning and errands. All while also trying to keep my business thriving. It’s a lot.
After really looking at where my time and energy go, I realized Substack (while I love writing here) takes a big chunk of time without as much return as some of the other areas I’m focusing on.
Right now, I want to slow down a bit and not feel rushed through every part of my day.
Here’s what’s changing:
Paid subscriptions are ending. I’m in the process of sure no one is charged moving forward.
Past paid posts will stay paid.
I’ll still be here, posting about once a month with all of my new recipes and life updates!
All posts moving forward will be free.
If you’re currently a paid subscriber, you’ll still have access to all of the paid posts in the archives. That’s over 200 easy-to-make recipes waiting for you. Take advantage of it while you can by browsing here!
You’ll still get seasonal recipes, life updates, and any new product launches here! I’d love for you to stay subscribed for free so we can keep in touch. And if you want all of my recipes at your fingertips, my cookbook is the best way to have them in your own kitchen (available in paperback, hardcover and eBook form).
Social media will still be where I share more in-the-moment content, so make sure you’re following me there too!
Honestly, social media can feel like it’s missing a bit of realness lately, so I want to keep showing up honestly and sharing this behind-the-scenes stuff too. Sometimes that means making choices to protect your time and energy. I know you get it bestie 😉
Here are a few easy recipes you can make this week!

Pumpkin Protein Muffins - it’s (almost) pumpkin season, and these muffins are the perfect breakfast, or snack!
Cottage Cheese Pizza Dip - a high protein pizza dip that takes 5 minutes and it’s an easy after school snack that kids will love!
Air Fried Green Beans - the easiest side dish your whole family will love!
Thanks for being here, for supporting and reading this publication! This isn’t goodbye, just a little shift in pace.
Talk soon,
Jazz
xoxo
